National Public Health Partnership

The National Public Health Partnership, generously supported by The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, strives to bridge the gap between the public health and museum and science center communities by engaging these groups in a robust dialogue with the goal of advancing the quality of and capabilities to support public health programming in museum settings.

With generous support provided by The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the National Health Museum (NHM) is embarking upon an innovative project -- The National Public Health Partnership (NPHP). The NPHP strives to foster collaboration among leaders in the museum community with the organizations, institutions and individuals who work in the nation's public health arena. In order to advance the quality of and capabilities to support public health programing in museums, an ongoing robust dialogue needs to take place between the public health and museum communities. The NPHP is the mechanism that will generate this dialogue.
